Chance for Haverhill’s Community Groups to Receive Up to £5,000

The 2016 round of Haverhill Community Grants was open for any group or organisation embarking upon or thinking about a project which could improve opportunities for people in Haverhill or improve the physical environment of the town.

You can apply for up to £5,000 for your project which must support one of ONE Haverhill Partnership's current themes. These are:


Improving employability skills

Projects focusing on NEETS, education and youth training


Wellbeing

Projects which have the potential to reduce demands on healthcare by improving the health of Haverhill residents


Reducing crime and anti-social behaviour

Keep people out of such activities

How to apply

The Haverhill Community Grants has come from money made available by St Edmundsbury Borough Council.

Previous applicants can apply. Deadline for applications - Friday 28th October 2016

Applications are considered from groups which fulfill at least three or more key criteria:


Provides significant benefit for the people of Haverhill

Provides value for money

Promotes health and wellbeing

Promotes Community Involvement

Supports local solutions to meet local needs

Promote community cohesion/inclusion

Works in partnership with others

Provides matched funding

Provides Evidence of Sustainability
