Voluntary organisations in Haverhill will benefit from free training courses delivered by Community Action Suffolk (CAS), following £1,000 of funding from the One Haverhill Partnership.

A 'Project Planning' course will be delivered on Thursday 29th June followed by a 'Writing a Good Funding Application' in September.

Both courses are designed to develop the skills of organisations in Haverhill, improving their own opportunities and those of the local communities they serve.

Project Planning Course

Project planning is a key to success. If you haven’t got a plan, this practical one-day foundation workshop will work help you create one.

Learn about:

  • The stages of a project from the initial planning to the exit strategy.
  • How to research the need and demonstrate your impact in your community.
  • How to produce a well thought out and viable project plan to show funders how they are going to utilise their money to best meet the needs within your community.

Participants will have the opportunity to share and discuss their ideas on good practice.
